Palin mania

Oh my goodness! It's unbelievable how much media attention Sarah Palin is getting! Now, I haven't had time to watch too much news, but every single time I flick the TV on, guess who they're talking about!

Last night CNN played this special, "Sarah Palin's Faith," and all they talked about was the church she went to, her pastor, etc. Today, when I was standing in line at Wal Mart, I saw her face on magazines with headlines like "Five children, lies & scandal." This is ridiculous! The poor woman is being ridiculed for having five children. I read a blogger the other day who was criticizing her saying, "If she would have only used birth control, she wouldn't have had a baby with down's syndrome!" Can you believe that?? It's absolutely ridiculous the way the media is attacking her... When asked if Palin being elected would be a step forward for women, Joy Behar said on Larry King that it would actually be "a step backwards for women." Riiiiight...

I personally fell in love with Sarah Palin while watching her speech at the RNC, as did millions around the country. (notice John McCain's poll numbers are rising...)If you haven't seen her speech, you need to get online and watch it. She's quite the fire-cracker :)
